Last weekend my office organised the Christmas Open House for the Subang Jaya residents. The turnout was good! We had Christmas carolling, dances, quiz, songs and beatboxing too. A big thank you to our corporate sponsors – Subang Parade for the venue, McDonalds for sponsoring free nuggets and drinks, Big Apple Donuts & Coffee for discounts given on the purchase of donuts and Yamaha for the usage of their instruments.
A big thank you also to the police represented by Chief Inspector Sulaiman of SS17 police station for being present and the assistance rendered by officers of RELA. Not forgetting the residents of different races and religions who turned up with their families and friends. I was also pleasantly surprised to see the OKU residents from the recent OKU dialogue at the open house. Children were enthusiastic about answering questions relating to Christmas and the constituency.

This event would not have been successful without the help of CDPC – thank you to all of you from CDPC for bringing Christmas to the community. My appreciation also goes to Edward Ling, my political secretary who was also the Organising Chairman for this event and my team of assistants for working so hard to ensure the smooth running of the event.
In my speech, I thanked the people for their support all these months and I reminded them that transforming the society does not happen with just one person, it takes the entire community to play their role. Greater things are yet to be done in this city and greater things await us next year. Blessed Christmas everyone!
